HMCs are the machine of choice fast and low-cost processing for parts that can be mounted on multi-sided fixtures. Starting with the small FA450-III (with a 23.6-inch pallet), each model varies in size and features to offer the most productive combination for different materials, part sizes, or production runs. Toyoda’s largest machining center, FA1050, accommodates parts exceeding five feetin height

and/or diameter. Most models are available with high-speed or high-torque spindle options, magazines with up to 326 pockets, and fourth or fifth axis tables. Toyoda specializes in customer-engineered solutions and automation for lights-out production.
